View servicesDominic Keen, High Growth Robotics Limited
The focus of the Fund is to deliver returns to Investors by making targeted investments in promising UK based robotics businesses that have already proven their technology and established some initial customer relationships.
The Fund is different to other British Robotics funds in that it will seek to identify attractive investment opportunities predominantly amongst companies already sitting within the existing funds’ portfolios,
given that we are most familiar with the dynamics of these businesses.
Key Individuals - Dominic Keen is a successful British technology entrepreneur. Having previously floated on the London Stock Exchange mPorium Group plc, the software business that he founded, he now helps promising ventures to maximise their growth potential. In particular, Dominic looks to apply the lessons learned from his experiences gained in taking the business that he started in his garage through to becoming a public company, to other exciting early-stage companies.
Dominic is supported by a team of experienced investment professionals with backgrounds in venture capital, private equity and entrepreneurship.

The British Robotics Scale-Up Fund investment objective is to invest in and provide support for UK based robotic and artificial intelligence companies in the scale-up phase.
The British Robotics Scale-Up Fund offers investors the opportunity of investing in potentially fast-growing robotics companies in the UK whilst significantly reducing the inherent risks involved in funding earlystage businesses. It does this by both: focusing investment solely on robotics businesses where investors are eligible to take advantage of the EIS schemes; and also by spreading the investments made across a range of companies and sectors so that investors can benefit from a portfolio approach.
The Fund will focus on market-ready concepts that are already generating revenues investment and will look to invest in the best performing companies in the previous British Robotics Seed funds’ portfolios in the majority of cases, as the business dynamics of these businesses are better understood by the Fund Manager. Where possible, the Fund will look for the money invested by the Fund to be matched by other private investors, a Local Enterprise Partnership or other public bodies, or corporate investor so the Investee Company might have in excess of £500,000 of scale-up capital available for go-to-market and product improvement activities.
