SBS Later Stage EIS Fund

investing in established companies in the scale-up stage.

What is the aim of this fund?

"This Fund will invest in successful later stage companies with an established customer base and revenue, led by driven teams who dream big."

John Bailye, The Side by Side Partnership International Limited

The SBS Later Stage EIS Fund (the "Fund") invests in companies where there is evidence of strong customer acceptance of the product and service offered by the company, and where the team believes they can add substantively to the knowledge and experience of the founder and the staff as they prepare to move from scale-up to commercialisation.

The Fund will provide the finance in tranches which will be progressively be made available to the investee companies as they achieve their pre-agreed objectives. This approach is made possible because of the reporting which is provided by companies on a regular basis as well as the operations meetings that the Side by Side Partnership commits to each investee company. The Fund approach is to have a high-touch engagement of at least two days a month mentoring each management team.
