The Fund’s mission is to identify, invest in, and fully support exceptional entrepreneurs who are building disruptive business models and offerings in the broad categories of “Health, Wellness and Sustainability” defined by the 8 Dimensions of Wellness. The Fund will seek to invest in early-stage opportunities, often technology-enabled businesses that disrupt existing large markets or seek to create new billion-pound plus markets. The Fund seeks opportunities where 8 Dimension Ventures Ltd ("8DV") have confidence in the entrepreneur, are excited by the business model and believe the long-term societal demand for the offering is so strong that an exceptional investment opportunity is created.
Helen Corey and Michael Fairbairn – 8DV Founding Partners
Helen is a proven global executive in developing and executing high-impact strategic and commercial plans; a hands-on problem solver who can see the game plan when confronted with complex challenges; and a distinguished crisis manager with a track record of delivery through turbulence, change, and rapid growth. Helen is highly experienced at creating new high-performance organisations and optimising existing businesses to better fulfil new missions. Her managerial experience ranges from startups to multi-national Global 2000 companies, and she is a keen observer of how emerging opportunities turn into large sustainable opportunities.
Michael has driven agendas at large multinationals and spent years investing in and advising health and wellness start-ups. Michael has experience in event-driven equities and real estate, and was particularly successful forging relationships at JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs with private clients and family offices. Michael is a believer in goals-based advising and is experienced in trading and growing diverse revenue streams.

Open to new investors. The fund will close on the 31th of December 2021. The minimum investment is £100,000 (subject to the Investment Manager's discretion to accept smaller amounts).
The Fund will seek to invest in entrepreneurs who are creating businesses that address each of the following requirements:
8DV’s team, including advisers, will meet on a regular basis to weigh the relative merits of different investment possibilities as represented by each Investment Memorandum. In a collective forum, they will decide which prospects will come to a formal investment vote. The formal investment proposal is presented to and made by the Investment Committee. The Investment Committee is made of the 8DV founders and a member of Sapphire. Both 8DV and Sapphire will collaborate in the due diligence process, with Sapphire ultimately responsible for making the investment decisions and ensuring successful completion. The Fund shall not make any investments into investee companies until after the initial closing date when the minimum Fund size of £5 million GBP has been achieved.

The Fund is designed for UK-based investment professionals as defined by Article 19 FSMA 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005 and high net worth companies, etc. as defined by Article 49 FSMA 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005. An investor may also be a U.S investor, in which case they must qualify as ‘Accredited Investors’ as defined in Rule 501(A) of Regulation D under the US Securities Act of 1933. Investors should be aged 18 or over with an investment horizon of seven or more years. Your capital is at risk. Investors must be comfortable with the risks of investing in an underlying portfolio of small private companies and should read the risk factors set out in the Information Memorandum in Part Six: Risk Factors. Investors should be able to lose all funds invested.
