To help you make better decisions, take time to understand both the opportunities and risks of any investment you’re considering. Here are 5 questions to ask before you invest!

The Anotherway Ventures Fund aims to invest in promising opportunities in fast-growing consumer sectors that qualify for SEIS and/or EIS tax relief and fall into one of three key categories, companies either: launching a brand, scaling a brand or re-positioning a brand. Anotherway believes the future will be defined by purposeful brands, run by talented founders, built on sustainable business models and supported by investors who engage practically and proactively. Anotherway is ideally positioned to not only identify these future brands but to help them execute their mission with hands-on support and guidance.

The Fund is a collaboration between one of London’s leading creative agencies, Otherway
London Limited, and Nick Clarke. Otherway adds significant creative value with their 50+
strong team, to support Investee Companies with brand creation and strategy, advertising, e-commerce and website build, digital growth marketing, product development and packaging design. Nick adds the science as a Chartered Accountant, bringing his experience from a career in investment banking and private equity as well as a seasoned investor in SEIS and EIS qualifying companies, supporting businesses in a combination of executive and non-executive roles.

SEIS & EIS tax incentives
The companies the fund invest in are expected to be SEIS-EIS-qualifying, which makes Anotherway Ventures Fund SEIS-EIS suitable for qualifying clients who would potentially benefit from the following tax reliefs:
  • Up to 30% income tax relief (50% for SEIS)
  • Tax-free investment growth
  • Capital gains deferral (or 50% capital gains tax exemption for SEIS)

  • Inheritance tax relief

  • Loss relief
Please note: SEIS-EIS tax reliefs are only made available to investors because of the higher risks associated with investing in early-stage companies.  Also, the availability of tax reliefs will depend on the investor's individual circumstances, and may be subject to change in the future. In addition, the availability of any tax relief depends on the investee companies maintaining their qualifying status.
