ZEPS aims to shelter your estate from IHT after investments have been held for a period of two years whilst allowing you access to your funds if you give us reasonable notice, subject to prevailing liquidity restraints of the Direct Lending Companies, their assets, their liabilities or the financial markets. Securing the value of your investment is our top priority. The Zenzic Estate Planning Service offers you the choice to balance your need for growth and income by investing in lending businesses managed by the expert team of ZSL Capital.

 

Daryl ThorpeKey Individuals - Daryl Thorpe has over 20 years finance experience, successfully cofounding and exiting a consumer finance business to a listed United States based Corporation. Involved in UK real estate since 2002 with more recent focus as a principal lender within the sector.

Daryl is supported by a team of experienced investment professionals with backgrounds in venture capital, private equity and entrepreneurship.

Investments will only be made if they comply with the Zenzic Fair Dealing Policy. This means that the ZEPS DFM will only make investments in Direct Lending Companies with a published lending policy which complies with one of the strategies described above so that the interests of all investors in the same Direct Lending Company are aligned.

It also means that investments will only be made when the sums invested can be properly utilised in the business of the Direct Lending Companies within a reasonable period and that investments will only be cashed in when their withdrawal will not damage the efficacy of the business of the Direct Lending Companies or the financial or taxation position of other investors.

Not all investors will have the same objectives. That is why ZEPS allows you to tailor your investments so that you can, with advice from your IFA, manage your wealth in a way which is suitable for your personal circumstances. By selecting the right portfolio, you can balance your potential need to:

  • make longer-term investments in shares which offer BR from IHT once they have been held for two years; and
  • withdraw capital, should you need to do so, which also offers income returns

Any fees and charges payable by the investee companies or the underlying businesses do not directly come out of your investment. However, they will effectively reduce the returns generated by investee companies and therefore directly impact your investment.
